Project Overview:
Em Dub Design worked with these Berkeley homeowners to create a modern outdoor living experience. The side yard living and entertaining space was maximized by a concrete retaining wall and privacy fence, while accent and buffer landscape treatments minimize sounds from the adjacent busy street. Clean lines of hardscape are accented by xeric low maintenance landscape with functional areas of turf for kids and pets. Features include a fire pit, large patio for dining and entertaining, festoon lighting, fenced dog run, and a large parking area accessed from the alley which doubles as a half basketball court.
