Project Overview:
Em Dub Design helped project manage an effort to convert irrigation for the Harvard Gulch golf course from a potable water source to non-potable water obtained from the City irrigation ditch through improvements to the conveyance systems, pond lining, and installation of an irrigation pump.
Em Dub took over this project in September 2019, temporarily filling in for a Project Manager who moved to a new department until a replacement was hired. The $2M project was mid-way through revising the construction bid set for reissuance of a public hard bid through Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI). Through a series of Em Dub-led meetings and reviews with the Denver Golf design team, DOTI transportation and contracting, Denver Department of Public Health and Environment (DDPHE), and Forestry, the remaining issues were addressed and it was ultimately determined that it would be bid through the DOTI on-call contractor process. Em Dub co-managed this project with a DOTI project manager through the bidding process and construction kick-off before handing back off to the Golf Department’s new Project Manager.
